The basic rules
- 24-48 hours notice = free. Reschedule, skip, or pause.
- Same-day = case-by-case. First time, free. Repeated same-day cancellation may incur a small fee.
- No-show / no-contact = full charge. Rare but yes — if we arrive and cannot get in with no warning, we still charge the visit.
- Holiday pause = free, any duration. Just tell us when you are going and when you are back.

How to pause
- Text the day before: “Cancel tomorrow, please. Back to normal next time.”
- For longer pauses: “Pausing for 4 weeks from X — resume after.”
- For travel pauses: send start and resume dates
- No need to give a reason
- Your slot is held — you do not need to re-book when you resume
Adding extra visits
- Pre-family-arrival visit — book 7+ days ahead. Flat fee, often slightly discounted.
- Post-event reset (party, renovation) — book 24-48 hours ahead.
- Pre-Christmas or pre-event blitz — book 2-4 weeks ahead during high season.
- One-off deep clean alongside the recurring schedule — separate quote.

- Weekly → fortnightly — 1 week notice, no charge
- Fortnightly → weekly — start anytime
- Pausing for a season — flag at least one visit in advance
- Permanent stop — no notice required, no penalty
What about long-term holds?
If you pause for more than 3 months we may not be able to hold your exact slot — high-demand windows fill. We will move you to the nearest equivalent slot on return.
