There’s no single number because every home is different. Most cleaners locally charge $45–$60 per hour, but Green Koala doesn’t quote by the hour. We come to your home for a free walkthrough, write a detailed scope room by room, and give you one fixed price per visit. The same checklist is followed every clean, so the price never changes from visit to visit. The model gives you peace of mind on two fronts: you know exactly what the clean will cost before any work starts, and you know exactly what’s going to be cleaned, room by room. The cleaner ticks off each item on the checklist as they go, so when we’re done you can see for yourself that nothing was missed.

Weekly cleans cost the least per visit. Fortnightly is a little more, monthly a little more again. It’s not because the scope of work changes — the checklist stays the same. It’s because between visits, the home gets dirtier, so the same scope takes more effort to bring up to the same high standard. The trade-off: less frequent visits cost more per clean, more frequent visits cost less per clean.

No. If you’re starting recurring with us, the first clean is usually a bit more work to bring the home up to our standard — but we absorb that. You’re charged at the recurring rate, not the one-off rate, from the very first visit. We see it as the start of an ongoing relationship, not a one-off transaction.

Yes — that’s the default. We deliberately keep the same cleaner on your recurring job so they learn your home, your preferences, and the small details that matter to you. The detailed checklist follows them, so even on the rare occasion someone else covers, nothing gets missed.
